One look at Hipolito’s passport tells you that he gets around. It includes stamps from Canada, Czech Republic, Dubai (United Arab Emirates), France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, the U.K. and the U.S.A. Like many Timken associates, working on an international scale is routine for Hipolito.

“All of this international work has greatly expanded my engineering experience. I’ve worked with many different customers, markets and bearing applications. Timken offers a work environment with very broad boundaries.”

So broad that he says it can be a bit intimidating for those who’ve just joined the company. But after getting settled in, he thinks most new associates will find it both exciting and challenging. “For me, the multi-disciplinary work environment and international scope are the most attractive parts of working here.”
